Mondrian Inspired Mosaic Boxes

These art boxes were designed and constructed to be both decorative as well as useful as urns for cremation ashes. They are decorated with our mosaic work that embodies the De Stijl art movement of 1918 in particularity the rectilinear work of Piet Mondrian. They were designed to be displayed as a group, but could be sold separately. All of the domestic and rare exotic woods used in the case and mosaic pieces are "old stock". The finish is composed of a high gloss durable coating that is hand polished to a mirror like surface that allows the character of the wood to blossom forth.
