A Collaboration of Craftsmen

They say it takes a village, but what about a small, gifted team?

It begins with a vision.

Owner and lead artist Bruce Schuettinger takes time to understand your needs, space, and inspirations. As each individual piece comes to life, his fellow MosArt craftsmen help to problem solve and co-create until your functional art furniture is near perfection.

Jim Kelley

Anxious to learn the trade, Jim Kelley began working at a number of small, struggling wood shops in 1980, making everything from kitchen cabinets to coffins. Deciding that he needed a more traditional and comprehensive background, Jim spent a year studying at Ian Kirby Studio in Bennington, Vermont. This opened the door for producing high-end custom furniture and millwork for interior designers and architects in the Washington, DC area for the next three decades. In 2015, Jim joined the MosArt team where he relishes creating one of a kind pieces of furniture that are truly works of art. A long time Boy Scout leader, he resides in Monrovia, Maryland with his wife Rosetta. They are both quite proud of their two Eagle Scout sons.
